Salina Charities League (SCL) was started in 1968 by women volunteers who wanted to give back to their community. The first fundraiser was an Arabian horse show and auction. The Salina Charities Men’s Invitational Golf Tournament began in 1972. Local charities submit requests to SCL and SCL members visit and evaluate where the monies should be donated. Since 1968, SCL has given over $1,500,000. Salina Charities League Mission shall be to provide assistance to organizations for needed programs, facilities, activities, and for worthwhile charitable, educational, and cultural programs within Salina and Saline County. 100% of all money raised is given back to Salina charities. We raise money through cart and hole sponsorships and an auction.
